The following is a list of the Top 10 Public Recommendations for safety improvements along SR 159. (Found on page 7 of the NDOT Safety Charettes Report).  It is our goal to achieve as many of these safety measures as possible for Red Rock Canyon.

· Reduce Speed Limit
· Increase Law Enforcement
· Sweep Shoulders Weekly
· Add Warning Signs
· Widen Shoulder to a Minimum of 7 feet in Width
· Widen Shoulder to a Minimum of 6 feet to the Right of a Rumble Strip
· Limit Large Trucks Based on a Weight Limit
· Provide Separated Bikeway
· Provide Entrance Stations on SR 159
· Provide Alternate Commute Route Between the 215 and the SR 159/SR 160 Intersection
